About Us

Engage, Educate And Empower Our Children With The Culture, Values And Wisdom Of Sanatan Dharma.

We help children build confidence, character and compassion through the life‑affirming values of Sanatan Dharma. Under the blessings and guidance of Pujya Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza, we nurture them with the values of humanity so they learn to see the world as one family.

Why We Exist

Pujya Bhaishri says, “Our children are our future. The wealth and wisdom from Sanatan Dharma will transform our children to true human beings and good citizens who will serve other humans, beings and nature at large”.

Sanatan Dharma is a way of life. It provides life skills and values that help children, and all of us, practice humanity in the world that is one family. Through Sanatan Dharma education, children develop confidence, courage, kindness, selflessness and a growth mindset.

At Shishu Vikaas, we help children understand the symbolism and teachings of our scriptures so they can live these values with understanding, joy and purpose.

Our Story

2021 – A humble beginning

We began in 2021 with online classes inspired by Pujya Bhaishi’s vision of nurturing humanity through education. Our aim was to share the wisdom of Sanatan Dharma and life skills with children.

2022 – Growing together

Shishu Vikaas expanded in 2022 with face to face classes, new publications and families joining from across UK and Canada. With growing interest and dedicated volunteers, our community of children continued to flourish.

Today – A thriving community

Today, Shishu Vikaas has grown into a flourishing community with regular classes, dedicated teachers and volunteers, and children learning with joy every week. With this strong foundation, we continue to expand our reach and share the practical wisdom of Sanatan Dharma with families around the world.

What and How We Teach

Children learn best when they feel safe, engaged and connected to meaning. Our sessions blend storytelling, chanting, creativity and play. We bring learning to life through three joyful elements:

Stories

Children explore stories from our scriptures and traditions, discovering morals that help them grow into kind and responsible human beings. We focus on the symbolism behind each story so children understand why the teachings matter in life.

Shlokas

Children learn simple, powerful shlokas and mantras — along with their meaning and practical use. This helps them build resilience, positivity and inner strength.

Activities

Hands-on activities help children internalise what they learn through creativity and play.

We have:

  • made our own Ganeshji
  • planted flowers and seeds
  • played team-building games
  • created recipes
  • used arts & crafts and science experiments to understand symbolism

These experiences help children see Sanatan Dharma as a way of living — something they can practise with joy, understanding and purpose.

Our Logo & It’s Meaning

Our logo captures the heart of Shishu Vikaas.

The children reaching for the star represent the endless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma and the shared journey of learning we take together.

The sun rays symbolise the light and confidence children gain, while the pencil reflects the growth and creativity that learning inspires.
